DJI Matrice 4T Deer Recovery Kit

This is the Matrice 4T set up for deer recovery work. The thermal camera is what finds the animal. A downed deer holds body heat for hours, and against cool evening ground it stands out on screen even in standing corn, CRP grass, or thick timber. The laser rangefinder pins the exact spot, so you walk straight to the deer instead of grid searching in the dark.

Recovery calls come in bunches, and almost always after dark. The standard package includes one battery, which is not enough for a full night of calls. This kit adds three more batteries for four total. Rotate packs through the included charging hub between flights and you can run animal recovery calls all evening without sitting around waiting on a charger.

The AL1 Spotlight rounds it out. It follows the camera, so once you spot the deer on thermal you can put light on it, confirm what you are looking at, and guide the ground crew straight in.
